Iyengar Yoga

Focuses particularly on correcting body alignment which allows the body to develop harmoniously in an anatomically correct way so that the student suffers no injury or pain when practicing correctly. As all bodies are different and people have different weaknesses and strengths. Iyengar Yoga use of props to help the body into the correct positions required. Props are objects like wooden/form blocks, chairs, blankets, straps and wall ropes that help to adjust or support students in  different postures so that everyone can work in a range of motion that is safe and effective.

 

Level 1:Designed for students with no experience in order to learn the basics in a safe, slow, and thorough way. Also suitable for students who simply want to re-visit the basics of either Mysore, or Power.  

 

Level 2: Designed to be suitable for any level of practitioner or familiar with the foundation postures. Allows you to continue to build upon your practice and approach the intermediate level.

 

Level 3: Designed for students with Level 2 experience who are ready to learn advanced poses such as inversions or backbends, as well as deepen their practice.

 

Level 4: An advanced practice for experienced students only. Focus on advanced inversions, balances, forward bends and backbends.

 

 

Power Yoga

This is an energetic series of asanas and sun salutations designed to build heat and detoxify the body, with emphasis on aerobic training, muscle toning, improve your metabolism and fat burning, gradually  tone your body figure and physical fitness.

Power 1:   Suitable for any level of practitioner.

 

Power 2: This is a more intensive class, prior Power 1 or Mysore, or Level 3 or over 1 year yoga experience required.

 

  Flow

This is a basic yoga (vinyasa) class taught in sequence of postures. Students will flow through the sequences focusing on the breath and alignment of the body.

 

 

Private Class

 

This private class is conducted for corporate client which is opened exclusively for its staff.
